VOLUNTEER

Each volunteer receives one (1) free ticket to the State Games of the West Opening Ceremony, which can be picked up at the Information tent at the World Arena.

A team of dedicated, enthusiastic, hard-working volunteers is critical to the success of the State Games of the West.
To volunteer, sport experience is helpful but not required. The desire to contribute to the success of a
large, multi-sport event -- and a friendly, cooperative attitude -- are the essentials.

Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks and areas including: Opening Ceremony, athlete check-in, information
booths, set-up/tear-down, course guards, crowd and traffic direction, scoring, timing, hospitality, awards ceremonies,
tabulating results and many other activities.

In addition, volunteers are needed to support activities leading up to the State Games. They may assist staff
with administrative tasks and other activities in the office and/or attend events on evenings and weekends as
representatives of the State Games of the West..
